"Something more than realism ... IX" Spain

I am proud to participate second time in annual exhibition: "Something more than realism ... IX", to be held in Zaragoza, from November 5 to December 5, 2015. Participating artists : Richard Estes, Doug Webb, Elena Gualtierotti, Enrico Guarino, Carlos Muro, Aurelio Rodriguez, Francesco Capello, Amalia Navarro, total number of 26 artists.

My work "Yellow eyes" took part in last year's competition "Modportrait 2" and was accepted for the exhibition. It took place in  Fundation Bantierra, Zaragroza, and then in The European Museum of Modern Art, Barcelona, Spain.

The next edition of this competition is now open, and my work is used in promotion materials. :)

MEAM / Salmagundi 2014/2015 International ARC Salon Exhibition

I am happy to share that my painting "Creature" is included, as finalist, to prestigious 2014/2015 International ARC Salon Competition, and among the winners, will take part in the live travelling exhibition. It will start at the MEAM museum in Barcelona, Spain, where it will be on view from November 17th till December 28th, then travel to New York City, where it will hang at the Salmagundi Club from January 18th to February 4th.

Yesterday, I was watching tv quite ordinary. Suddenly, to my amazement, I see my painting in national Polish tv (TVN) !!!

"No" 220 / 300cm oil on canvas, that I painted at my fourth year of studing in Academy of Art in Gdansk, appeared in the "Na jezykach" show as the background to material about businesses of stars.
So cool!

Wczoraj, oglądam sobie zupełnie zwyczajnie tv. Nagle, ku memu zdumieniu, widze, mój obraz w tvn !!!

"Nie" 220/300cm olej na płótnie, który namalowałam na 4 roku studiów, wystąpił w programie "Na językach" w tle materiału o biznesach gwiazd.
Ale fajnie !

Spring News

  "BP Portrait Award 2014" exhibition in Aberystwyth Arts Centre, UK  will be open till 31 of May. So still few days to see my "Girl in Red" there.

"2 Modportrait" exhibition will be open at Fundacion Bantierra till 28 May, then it will travel to The European Museum of Modern Art, Barcelona where you could see my "Yellow Eyes" from 2 to 29 June.

 The article about me was published in last edition of "Prestiż Magazyn Trójmiejski".

2 Modportrait 2014

On Saturday February 28 the jury of the competition "2 ModPortrait 2014"met and made their decision. Here are all informations: www.modportrait.net. Paco Lafarga with painting: "When desire collected" - Oil on wood - 85x140 won the first prize. Congratulation!

The awards ceremony will be held on April 29 at the opening in the Exhibition Hall of the Bantierra Foundation, Zaragoza which will be held until May 28, then it will travel to the MEAM Museum, Barcelona,  2 - 29 June.
