This is my beloved husband painted for the realistic portrait competition.
It is also my biggest (till today) romance with realism. Although I like this kind of painting, however, the expression and showing "flesh of the paint" attracts me too. I love to combine these two ways of thinking about painting. We have a new year and I'm starting to paint two new works at the same time in my favorite format 2m. New Year's unexpectedly brought me lots of new ideas ... or maybe this is a result of non painting two weeks . . .
