I like to hide various things in my paintings, motifs, sometimes symbols or objects, but more often small drawings and illustrations. I think of them as small jokes. Repeating after the Polish Nobel laureate, a poet whom I admire and respect, Wislawa Szymborska: when I paint and I am talking about serious things, I have the impression that someone stands behind me, and makes faces. I can not and Ido not want to be serious too much.

"The wind from the see"

I finally can share who was the moody guy, some of you saw in my stories, I was painting a while ago. I was invited to prestigious project "The wind from the see" organized by Muzeum Narodowe w Gdańsku, Oddział Sztuki Nowoczesnej MNG Wojewódzka i Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna w Gdańskuand marshall of Pomeranian Voivodeship Mieczysław Struk.

20 artists from Pomeranian voivodeship painted 20 paintings, among them huge stars, and icons of our art community. I am especially proud that I have an occasion to be presented with amazing professors I was learning from during my studies in Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku Wydział Malarstwa ASP w Gdańsku : Maciej Swieszewski, Jacek Kornacki and Zbigniew Gorlak.

W końcu mogę powiedzieć kto był tym, pochmurnym panem, którego niektórzy z was widzieli w moich insta-stories jakiś czas temu. Zostałam zaproszona do prestiżowego projektu "Wiatr od morza. W sto lat później" organizowanego przez Muzeum Narodowym w Gdańsku, Oddział Sztuki Nowoczesnej MNG Wojewódzka i Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna w Gdańsku oraz przez marszałka województwa pomorskiego Mieczysława Struka.

20 artystów z województwa pomorskiego namalowało 20 obrazów, w tym wielkie gwiazdy i ikony naszego środowiska artystycznego. Jestem szczególnie dumna z tego, że mam okazję być prezentowana wraz z znakomitymi profesorami, u których miałąm przyjemność się uczyć w Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Gdańsku: Macieja Swieszewskiego, Jacka Kornackiego i Zbigniewa Gorlaka.
